The most famous local landmark is, of course, Mont-Blanc itself, which lies within the municipal boundaries of Saint-Gervais. The Mont-Blanc Tramway allows walkers to undertake stunning trails, and mountaineers can begin the ascent of the majesty of the highest peak in Europe, via the Refuge of Tête Rousse or the Refuge du Gouter.
Saint-Gervais is also located in the heart of France's 3rd largest ski area - the Evasion Mont Blanc domain, where you can enjoy 445 km of varied and sunny slopes with the same lift-pass. You also have the option to practice many other winter activities in the area, such as the ice skating, tobogganing, snowshoeing, ski-touring etc ....
For those who do not practice skiing, and of course for those staying in Saint-Gervais during the summer months, the activities available are abundant, with hiking, cycling, climbing, horseback riding, rafting and paragliding, just to name a few.
Saint-Gervais Mont-Blanc also boasts an indoor and outdoor pool, an ice rink, an indoor climbing centre and even a bungee jump platform. For more sedate entertainment, you can visit the museums, the thermal spa "Les Thermes", the theatre, and there is even a Casino if you like to liven up your evenings.
